INTEDU
Neuroscience and architecture in service of education
What did we do?
Measuring and studying the influence of the space and interior design of classrooms and educational centers on learning and growth processes.
How did we do it?
With Goli Neuromarketing’s non-invasive technologies, we have measured the behavior and neurophysiological reactions of students, which have helped identify the physical-environmental parameters of educational space in relation to the physical and emotional well-being of students and teachers.
After implementing a series of changes in the classrooms with furniture solutions and sound absorption, a new analysis has been carried out that will serve to establish a series of final recommendations.
What did we achieve?
- – Establish precise relationships between perception, emotional response, and adolescent behavior in relation to the design of the learning atmosphere.
- – Intervene and design spaces that contribute to forming physically and mentally healthy citizens for the future.
- – Detect how the environment and environmental parameters of classrooms and educational centers influence learning processes.
- – Understand the origin of behaviors and emotional needs of students and teachers.
What did we measure?
- – Levels of attention.
- – Levels of concentration.
- – Comfort with furniture/equipment.
- – Comfort with the use of elements and devices.
- – Sound reverberation.
- – Light intensity.
Work process
- – Installation of wireless cameras, without recording images and respecting privacy and anonymity.
- – Use of the Golineuro AI artificial intelligence platform for data collection and analysis.
- – Individual tests to measure brain activity and GRS for contrast.
- – Data analysis.
