The dictionary of emotions
Emotion. n. A strong and temporary alteration of the mind, pleasant or painful, accompanied by a certain somatic reaction.
This is how the Diccionario de la Real Academia Española de la Lengua defines emotion. Most of us have a general understanding of what it means. In fact, if you ask someone to name three to five emotions, they could probably do it. But can we go beyond that?
We’re not talking about identifying them—since it can sometimes be difficult to identify both our own emotions and those of others—but simply naming more emotions beyond the basic ones like joy, sadness, fear, anxiety, or calm.
The artificial intelligence platform Golineuro AI by Goli Neuromarketing can identify more of 2,000 different emotions. From boredom to shame, including others like curiosity, desire, envy, or resignation.
How Do We Do It?
Golineuro AI identifies and analyzes the emotions expressed by people through non-verbal language. As we mentioned in this blog entry here.
