The (re)beginnings of September
When we reach mid-June, we look ahead, and for those of us with children, it seems like a daunting task. However, after a few visits to the beach or pool, several plans with friends and family, and a lot of accumulated heat, we find ourselves in September almost without realizing it.
The ninth month of the year represents an opportunity for a fresh start and change, and with them, of course, comes resistance to change.
“Resistance to change occurs in situations where a person or a company needs to modify certain routines, habits, or protocols but doesn’t do so out of fear or difficulty in doing something different.”
Despite the fact that companies nowadays, especially those that rely on neuromarketing professionals, have access to numerous data and rigorous studies that provide them with insights into the market and consumer demands, they often ignore the conclusions and resist implementing the necessary changes.
Whether it’s because they believe they don’t have the time or resources to carry out these modifications, or because they lack confidence that these changes will be effective, the truth is that many times they opt to do the bare minimum or nothing at all, and they only face the changes when there’s “no other choice.” In some cases, this means it’s too late to achieve the set objectives, and a reassessment of the strategy is necessary.
Therefore, as we enter the month of (re)beginnings, let’s gather the necessary data to ensure the prosperity of our business and have the courage to face the necessary changes to achieve it.
